Upcoming International Meets

2/26/2018 10:09:36 AM

Dear Prospective CCCAN and CAC Athletes,

Summer 2018 through December 2018 will be a busy period for the Bahamas Aquatics Federation.

We are looking at the following international meets.

CCCAN: June 29 to July 3 (Open Water July 4th and 6th)

CAC: July 20 to August 3   (Swimming normally first week)

Sr. Pan Pacs: August 23-28, 2018

YOG  DATES: October 6 - 18, 2018  (Swimming normally first week)

WORLD SCM DATES: December 11-16, 2018

Note that we have removed Junior Pan Pacs from our list of prospective meets as this meet is too costly.

The Qualifying times for these meets are posted on the website and the Federation will regularly post on our website the athletes that have met these qualifying times.

We can confirm that athletes that have met the Qualifying Times for both CCCAN and CAC will be selected for only ONE of these teams.  If you fall in this category, please advise the team that you would want to be considered for. If we do not hear from you, the CAC Team will be filled first and the athletes that have qualifying times for CAC not named to the CAC team will be named to the CCCAN Team.

Please consider this policy decision as you make your plans for 2018.

President, Bahamas Aquatics
