Minister of Youth, Sports & Culture Congratulates Arianna

Below is a letter from The Hon. Charles T. Maynard, Minister of Youth Sports and Culture congratulating Arianna Vanderpool-Wallace on her wins at the SEC's.

Arianna won both the100 fly in a time of 52.55 and 100 free in a time of 47.93.

"Good morning Arianna, I just wanted to offer congratulations on behalf of the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture on your most outstanding success. I am told that you are the first Bahamian to have achieved to wins in this fashion and possibly the first person of any nationality to do what you have done.

We are proud of you and continue to pray that you will continue towards your goals which we know includes Olympic Golds.

The Bahamas Swimming Federation echoes the minister's sentiments. Congratulations Arianna!

The Academic All Bahamas Swimming Team 2013 recognizes student athletes who have obtained a grade point average of 3.5 or higher, have represented the Bahamas on a national team in the last year or achieved a BSF national time standard or higher in an individual event during the qualifying period, and will be competing at the Bahamas National Swimming Championships.

The TM Hytek File for 2013 RBC National Swimming Championships is now available for download from the Bahamas Swimming Federation website
It is our great pleasure to inform you that FINA has approved the 2013 RBC Nationals Swimming Championships as a World Championships Qualifying Meet. The Bahamas Swimming Federation (BSF) hereby invites all member clubs and Unattached registered swimmers to participate in the 42nd Royal Bank of Canada Swimming Championships.
