IOC Olympic Solidarity Scholarship "RIO 2016"

BSF Notice to All Elite Athletes

Please see the communication below from the BOC in reference to the Olympic Solidarity Scholarships for Athletes "RIO 2016".

Athletes are requested to complete the forms and send a signed PDF document to the BSF email bsf_news@yahoo.com with the subject message RIO 2016 Olympic Scholarship,
not later than March 30th, 2014.

Athletes should also take note of the BOC requirements for consideration, all recipients will be expected to participate in the multi sport games including CAC, Commonwealth Games, Pan American a Games.

The BSF also requires your participation at the National Championships and any other regional meet including CAC, CCCAN and CISC.

Arianna Vanderpool-Wallace, Alana Dillette, Alicia Lightbourne and Ariel Weech swam to a new BAHAMAS record yesterday evening and first place in the 4 x 100 free relay in Montreal, Canada where they competed at the Canadian Olympic Swimming trials.
SWIFT carried 6 swimmers to the Auburn Masters Swimming Invitational on February 11-12th, 2012 and won 13 races along 6 second place finishes. The meet took place at the Auburn University swim complex that is to host the women’s NCAA Championships next month.

After the setbacks Nebraska swimmer Ariel Weech suffered last season, most swimmers would be down on their luck and struggling to keep up with their competition. For Weech, though, these setbacks have pushed her to be the best.
