CENTRAL AMERICAN AND CARIBBEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS MENTIONED ABOVE IN
ACCORDANCE WITH THE FOLLOWING:

The “Fédération Internationale de Natation” (FINA) hereby notifies and invites all
affiliated Federations to participate in the 14th FINA World Championships on the
following basis:

On a beautiful October Saturday Swift hosted its second open water swim at the Old Fort Bay beach with over 50 swimmers competing in either a 5 kilometer or 1.6 kilometer race. The top three finishes in each age group on either of the two courses were awarded beautiful “Sand Dollar” gold, silver, and bronze medals that were made by Susan Morley.

To carry competitions in the best possible way, FINA can count on Officials for its five aquatic disciplines. Officials are referees, starters, judges, coaches, managers, trainers, chaperons, etc.

MARSH HARBOUR, Abaco -- Crowds of excited swimming fans gathered on the shore at Crossing Rocks on
Saturday, October 2nd, for the popular Abaco open-water 5K swim.

At the XIII FINA World Masters Championships 2010 in Sweden July 27th to
August 7th Swift Swimming was represented by Percy Knowles, Andy Knowles, and
Nancy Knowles in three different age groups, 80-84, 55-59, and 50-54 respectively.
Considered the biggest swim meet in the world with 6,700 athletes this year’s World
Championships had lots of competition, and reinforced the values of friendship,

FINA World Championships to be held in Shanghai (CHN) on 16th-31st
July 2011.

The Bahamas Swimming Federation respectfully requests that the dates for the technical Course for Coaches 2010 be scheduled from September 24th to 4th October 2010.
